2004 Chevrolet Van

For this year the Chevy van arrives with a resounding blast as it now comes equipped
with torquey, 4.3-liter/190-horsepower V-6 which is capable of towing up to 5400
pounds and seat eight-fifteen people. Base models are given air conditioning,
an AM/FM stereo and a theft-deterrent system as standard features. Other trim
levels may include rear-seat climate controls, power windows and door locks, cloth
upholstery, cruise control, a tilt steering wheel, keyless entry and an auto-dimming
rearview mirror as part of its standard feature.
The options package consists of power driver and front passenger seats, the latest
communications system and an upgraded audio system with an in-dash six-disc CD
changer. The four-wheel anti-lock braking system appears on all Chevy vans. Some
models feature the front-passenger sensing system that will disable the front
airbag if it senses a small child sitting in front. The toughened frame, bigger
sway bars, rack-and-pinion steering and four-wheel ABS make riding and driving
the Chevrolet vans more comfortable.
